Cows and Cones

We recently spent an afternoon at Cows and Cones at Alice Acres Farm in Gales Ferry and i decided it just had to be my next post!

Located at 39 Military Highway in Gales Ferry, this is a place you just have to visit on a nice summer afternoon or evening.

Enjoy the charm of an authentic old New England farm complete with animals, greenhouses, fresh produce, premium ice cream and lots of room to play.

Treat yourself to Cows and Cones premium ice cream, relax, enjoy the picturesque views, and have fun visiting with all the farm animals.

Colorful flowers are everywhere and the ice cream is delicious!

Got an event coming up? The Bud Crandall Memorial Pavilion is available for birthday parties, picnics, weddings, receptions, reunions, lectures, meetings, seminars, classes, civic and corporate functions. Available for your use: refrigeration, portable restrooms, water cooler, grill, horseshoes and assorted children's games.

Enjoy the hayrides on weekends in October from noon - 4pm.

Spring & Fall Hours: Noon - 8pm from Sunday through Thursday. Noon - 9pm on Friday & Saturday.

Summer Hours: 11am - 8pm from Sunday through Thursday. 11am - 9pm on Friday & Saturday.
